9giants Monster Mouth music video

I was playing around with some textures in Photoshop and ended up creating what turned out to be a nice little tease for the upcoming post of the 9giants: Monster Mouth shots.  If you have not had a chance to check out Monster Mouth, click here to see the video.

This was 15 minutes of fun and my only regret is that I did not shoot the entire band in the car as this was the last shot of the production.  Having all four of the guys chasing or being hunted by the killer would have been a lot of fun.

There is very little to this composite: three photos, no photoshop on the subjects, text, blood spatter brush from smashmethod, with a concrete photo placed on the top layer set to multiply and 70% fill.  I did mask out some of the concrete over the mens faces, but that was about it.

The photo itself was taken with available light which was a red gelled hot light in the car and a rim light on a light stand outside of the rearview window.  You can best see the rear light in the shot of Mark as it highlights the back seat area of the car.
